Strombolitwo

After a childhood in New Zealand where Helen Perry first learnt to knit and sew, she studied architecture in Australia. During this time, Helen was also designing and making costumes for student theatre.
As designer-owner of Stromboli Apparel in Sydney, Helen's love of fabrics, draping and accessories came together in the production of cutting edge women's wear in silks, cottons and linen. Several ranges featured the work of a local Japanese kimono painter.
Now living in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland, Helen's love of fabric had endured and inspired the rebirth of Stromboli Two featuring textiles collected in Australia and Ireland, gorgeous vintage kimonos and silks imported from Japan, that are transformed into unique, handcrafted accessories for men and women.
Helen also offers special commissions for a specific occasion or to match an outfit.
